Harada Racing Company was established in 1977 for the purpose of PR activities of CIBIE in Japan, and at the same time began sales activities as a general agent for France elf Oil. Then, in the same year, launched the Motor Sports Team HRC, and intensified activities aimed at promoting the above two companies. Since then HRC has continued to participate in various motor sports, and through the sponsorship HRC has established the awareness of elf and CIBIE in the country.

Established HRC (Harada Racing Company) mainly for advertising of CIBIE and elf brands in France, started participation in domestic motor sports, F1, Le Mans, rally, two-wheel road race, etc. Sponsorship activities have also begun in earnest.
Began full-scale participation in Japan's highest Class race, All Japan F2 Championship, Fuji GC Series and Long Distance Series.

Under the sponsorship of SEIKO and EPSON, the first computer introduced to the motor sports world. The system is also the Epson, Honda, Bridgestone, Satoru Nakajima, and the 1983 series that challenged with the best system at that time. HRC rushed to a new generation.
The final stage of the HRC, focused on the Le Mans 24-hour endurance race and worked with overseas teams.
